Dan's in Salida riding with the UBikes crew Monday & Tuesday. I haven't slept alone in about 4 years and I could not get to sleep last night :( It's amazing how quiet the house gets and how alone you can feel with no one beside you.
He'll be back tonight! Thank goodness because I need some sleep :)

I'm just a scaredy cat and our dog doesn't offer up any kind of security....he's not a protector at all.
We do have our own "protection" but I don't really know how to use it. And I'm scared to pick the dang thing up.
Kim, you should learn to use that "protection" you have or commit 100% that you won't touch it ever. We could both go to a shooting range and practice - I'm a bit rusty with my "protection."
You're right Jen, I need to know how to use it. It doesn't do me any good just sitting there.
Maybe we should plan on going to the range one of these days....

Kim, I need to travel for business for four to five weeks at a shot. Try sleeping alone when you're used to a spouse and six kids in the house. It totally stinks!
Mark, in your case I think I'd sleep better alone :)
